Coaching — Carson Teagarden · Pure Strength

Coaching

This is Carson’s personal coaching practice — run as an application-based program under the Pure Strength brand. Three hours a week of training. One daily walk. One nutrition rule. One standing check-in. The rest is discipline, and Carson helps you build it.

Who this is for

Coaching is designed for busy men who:

  • Are carrying more weight than they want to be carrying — and know it.
  • Can’t move their calendar, can’t move their family, can’t move their team — so the fitness part has to fit in around everything else.
  • Travel a lot, work from home, or split their time between an office and the road — which means no consistent gym.
  • Have tried the quarterly “I’ll fix this when things slow down” reset. It didn’t stick.
  • Respect a system and want one that runs without willpower after the first few weeks.

It’s not designed for pro athletes, bodybuilders, or people optimizing already-elite training. There are coaches who do that better — Carson is not one of them. He’s built for the other 95% of adult men.

What you get

  1. A three-hour-a-week protocol built around your real calendar. Not a stock PDF. Carson reviews your travel, your work hours, your recurring commitments, and builds the sessions to land where your calendar already has slack.
  2. No-equipment home programming. Calisthenics progressions that scale from beginner to advanced. You can do the entire program in a hotel room, a home office, a boat, or a backyard.
  3. Nutrition guidance — protein first. Not a restrictive diet. Not macro-counting spreadsheets. One rule, one swap at a time, and an answer to the question “what do I order on the road?”
  4. A weekly accountability check-in. Thirty minutes. Video or voice. Live progress review + the next week’s adjustments.
  5. Direct channel access. Between check-ins you have a private channel for form checks, travel questions, and the “I’m looking at a menu right now, what do I do” moments.
  6. Measurable progress over the first 12 weeks. Strength, weight, resting heart rate, the fit of the clothes you already own. We track what you already track.

How it’s structured

Three tiers, two entry points.

Tier One — Foundation

The standard coaching engagement. Twelve-week commitment, weekly check-ins, full protocol access, direct channel between check-ins.

Best for: busy professional men who are doing this because they need it, not because it’s a status symbol.

Tier Three — Private Concierge

Fully bespoke. Carson works with a small number of principals — typically high-net-worth, high-pressure schedules. Includes in-person intensives, travel coverage, and direct Carson + ops team access.

Best for: principals who have already hired every other kind of professional in their life and are ready to bring the same standard to their body.

We don’t publish prices. Fit is the first filter, not fee. If you’re a serious match for Tier Three, we’ll send numbers after the discovery call.

What the first 30 days look like

  1. Day 0 — Application. You submit the short form below. Someone on Carson’s team reviews it within one business day.
  2. Day 1–3 — Discovery call. Thirty minutes with a coach (Carson personally for Tier Two and Three). Fit check — no sales pressure, no pricing, no call scripts.
  3. Day 4 — Onboarding. Intake assessment — travel pattern, calendar, medical context, goals, what’s been tried. You get your first protocol within 48 hours.
  4. Day 5 through Day 30 — The ramp. Four weekly check-ins. Light on volume, heavy on consistency. The goal of month one is not results — it’s never missing a session.
  5. Day 30 — Review. Formal readout of what moved, what didn’t, and the adjustment plan for the next 60 days.

What it looks like if you’re not a fit

We say no to about a third of applicants. The common reasons:

  • Actively training for a specific athletic event — a better coach exists for that.
  • Unaddressed medical conditions that need a physician before a coach.
  • Looking for a quick fix on a pre-stated deadline (wedding, reunion, photo shoot in four weeks).
  • Not willing to do the three hours a week. Carson’s program doesn’t work below that floor.

When we say no, we usually refer you somewhere better.

Frequently asked

How much does it cost?
We don’t publish pricing publicly because fit comes first. Foundation is the entry point. Tier Two and Tier Three are significantly higher and are presented in the discovery call.
Can I do this if I’m 60+?
Yes. Most of Carson’s Tier Two and Tier Three clients are 45–70. The protocol is built on bodyweight progressions — the safest, most scalable approach for men past their athletic peak.
Do I need to be Christian?
No. Carson is openly Christian and the discipline he teaches is rooted in scripture. Most clients are not practicing Christians. It’s never a filter.
Can I do this on the road?
Yes — the program is designed for hotel rooms, home offices, boats, and backyards. Calisthenics is the travel-friendliest training style there is.
How long is the commitment?
Twelve weeks minimum for Foundation. Tier Two and Tier Three engagements are typically six to twelve months.
Do you work with women?
Not currently. Carson’s practice is built for and marketed to men — that focus is deliberate and will continue for the foreseeable future.

What personal attention from Carson actually looks like

A lot of “coaches” at my age sell you a PDF and disappear. Personal coaching with me is the opposite of that. When you work with me one-on-one, I am in your training log, in your messages, and in your corner — every week, for the whole program.

Real transformations, not before-and-after Photoshop

The clients who finish my program show up on camera and talk about what changed. Strength up, bodyweight in the right direction, recovery better, confidence back. Watch one of them tell the story instead of taking my word for it.

Minimal equipment, maximum accountability

If you travel, train in a hotel gym, or only have bodyweight and a pull-up bar at home, my programming still works. I have built whole transformations on nothing but bodyweight, a kettlebell, and discipline. You will not be told to “just join a commercial gym” as a prerequisite.

Your first 30 days with me

Personal coaching is not a subscription. It is a structured engagement with a clear arc. Here is how the first month actually unfolds.

Week 1 — Assessment and baseline

  • 60-minute intake call with me (video, not a form)
  • Movement screen on video — I watch your squat, hinge, push, pull, and carry
  • Nutrition and sleep audit — what you actually eat and how you actually rest
  • First custom training block delivered inside the app

Week 2 — Execute and refine

  • Daily check-ins inside the app — you log, I read it
  • Weekly video review — you send lifts, I send timestamped feedback
  • Programming tweaks in real time based on how your body is responding
  • One live coaching call mid-week if you want it

Week 3 — Build the engine

  • Training load moves up as recovery and technique catch up
  • Targeted conditioning added based on your goal (fat loss, strength, or both)
  • Nutrition dialed — real numbers, real foods, no gimmicks
  • Mindset work for the part that always breaks first: consistency

Week 4 — Measure and re-plan

  • Second video assessment — same lifts, clear side-by-side comparison
  • Body composition and performance review
  • 30-minute strategy call to plan the next block
  • New training phase delivered for month two

Who personal coaching is — and is not — built for

This is a fit if you are

  • A man 40 to 70 who wants to get stronger, leaner, and more mobile without wrecking your body
  • A busy professional with 3 to 5 hours a week and a real goal behind it
  • Someone who has tried apps, books, and YouTube, and needs a real human holding the standard
  • Someone who values faith, discipline, and integrity and wants a coach who shares those values

This is not a fit if you

  • Are looking for a 6-week shortcut or a “shredded in 30 days” promise
  • Are not willing to log workouts or send video
  • Want a pre-written PDF and no human contact
  • Want a coach to yell at you instead of actually coaching you

“Why should I trust a 21-year-old with my training?”

This is the honest objection I hear most often from 45-to-70-year-old clients. Here is the honest answer.

  • Eight years of public reps. I started this channel at 13. 800+ videos, 250 million+ views, and a back catalog any client can audit. Most coaches cannot show you their work that way.
  • I train for your body, not mine. My personal program is not your program. Clients in their 50s and 60s get programming built around joint health, mobility, recovery, and gradual strength — not 21-year-old training volume.
  • I work under an operator with a 30-year track record. Pure Strength is backed by BlitzMetrics and Dennis Yu — a Facebook Studio-award-winning brand operator. You are not trusting a single kid. You are hiring an operator-backed coaching program.
  • I guarantee the work, not the outcome. I will not promise you a six-pack. I will promise that I show up every single week, read every check-in, and program the next block off your real data. The outcome follows the work.

Coaching FAQ

How much does personal coaching cost?

Personal 1:1 coaching is a premium engagement — pricing is quoted on the intake call once I know your goal, training age, and schedule. I do not publish a rate because the package is built around you, not a tier. If the number is wrong for your budget, I will tell you straight up and point you to self-directed options.

How do we communicate day to day?

Inside the coaching app. You log every session, I read them, and I respond in the same app. Video lifts go in there too. Once a week we do a live review. You will not be stuck emailing me and waiting for a reply.

Do I need a full gym?

No. I have coached clients to real strength and conditioning gains on bodyweight + pull-up bar, hotel-gym rotations, and garage setups. I design around what you have.

Can you coach me if I have joint or injury history?

Yes, and most of my 45+ clients come in with something. I program around and through it, and I am not shy about telling you to see a physical therapist or doctor for anything outside my scope.

What is the minimum commitment?

12 weeks. Anything less and there is not enough runway to actually change your body. Most clients renew after the first block.

Ready to work with me?

If you have read this far, you are the kind of client I want. The next step is a short application so I know you are serious and so I can come into the intake call prepared. I personally review every application.
